How to report an issue
Readers, manufacturers, and professionals may report factual errors through the site contact page. Include the page URL, the statement in question, and a primary source or current manual when available.
How we assess corrections
The editorial team checks the published claim against current evidence. Product preference alone is not evidence of an error, but incorrect specifications, outdated safety information, broken attribution, and misleading language are corrected.
What changes are disclosed
Minor spelling and formatting edits may be made silently. Material corrections that change safety guidance, a recommendation, or the meaning of a claim should be noted in the article’s update history.
Independence
A manufacturer may provide documentation but cannot approve PetUpon’s conclusion or require removal of accurate criticism as a condition of communication.
